| AG

AG is a 28-amino acid polypeptide hormone secreted by gastric mucosa, activated by octyl modification of serine at position 3, and is the only known gastrointestinal appetite stimulating hormon. ‌Only AG can specifically bind to the growth hormone secretory receptor (GHSR-1a), activating the downstream signaling pathway .Stimulate growth hormone release, promote feeding behavior, participate in energy homeostasis balance.
